This is the first night of the 10 day festival and we will be opening the event in style!

The Opening ceremony will include:

• Join us from the festival zone from 5pm for Karakia and welcome

• Entertainment and dance performances, kapa haka and music groups till late (bring your chair & blankie)

• Mid-winter night market with market stalls and food trucks

• Artist Trail - note, the light’s are turned on from 6pm
