Kura Project Lanterns -

Whakatāne High School

Supported by

Kurt Lanterns is an exciting project brought to life by the creative minds of Whakatāne High School's Year 10 Design Thinking class.

Students were each given the brief to design and make a laser-cut lantern with the theme 'What makes me think of Whakatāne'. Together these 20 lanterns project the most important aspects of home for our rangatahi, displaying their pride in our rohe and hopes for the future.
