Imagine walking on a path of light and nature, where each step reveals a different native plant suspended in illuminated resin. These are the stepping stones, a series of 600mm diameter resin  discs that glow from below and cast beautiful shadows and light around you. As you follow the winding path, you feel like you are floating on air and immersed in the natural beauty of New Zealand fauna. The stepping stones are an installation that explores how light can evoke emotions and connect us with our environment.

Artist Bio

Light is more than just a source of illumination, it is an elemental energy that shapes our mood, our perception, and our relationship with the world. Light can make us feel joy, wonder, curiosity, or peace. As a light artist, I aim to capture these feelings and share them with others through my creations. I use light as a medium to express my fascination with nature, especially the way light interacts with water and plants. My art is inspired by the playful, wild, and free aspects of light that we experience in nature.
