Taking inspiration from Icelandic mythology, Creature Post re-imagined the great worm Lagarfljót in a contemporary incarnation as a Serpent.

A perspective illusion projection, viewers are able to discover the magic viewing spot by walking around the building. The winding, sinuous movement of Serpent through the structure was also inspired by Ourouboros and Frank Herbert’s Shai Hulud.

We are Creature Post - a creative studio based in central Tāmaki Makaurau, New Zealand. The work we do combines physical and digital worlds. We build multi-layered experiences, that create moments of magic and human connection for our audiences.

Our team consists of experienced professionals with backgrounds in production, animation, VFX, coding, design, and creativity. We take pride in our ability to adapt, and thrive on using evolving technologies to constantly improve our craft offerings.

We work with a diverse client base that includes advertising agencies, brands, museums, councils, indigenous artists, musician sand place-makers.
